Cookie Policy

Exactly what this website stores in your browser, why, and how to change your choice at any time.

What this policy covers

Cookies are small files a website places in your browser. This policy also covers similar browser storage — localStorage and sessionStorage — because we use those rather than traditional cookies. It lists everything this website actually stores.

This website is operated by Palletmove Limited, trading as Palletmove, registered in England and Wales under company number 10370260, VAT registration number 252 4305 34, registered office 21/23 East Street, Fareham, England, PO16 0BZ.

Essential storage we use

These two items are strictly necessary for the site to work as you expect, so they do not require consent. Neither tracks you, neither is shared with anyone, and neither leaves your browser except as described.

Browser storage used by this website
NameTypePurposeDuration
palletmove-consent-v1localStorageRemembers the cookie choice you made in the banner.Until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
palletmove.checker.v1sessionStorageKeeps your Pallet Checker answers so the contact page can prefill a summary of them.Deleted automatically when the browser tab is closed.

Analytics — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4. It loads only after you choose "Accept analytics", and only on the live www.palletmove.co.uk website — never on a preview or test address. If you choose "Essential only", or later withdraw your choice using "Cookie settings" in the footer, the tag is switched off and no analytics cookies are set.

When it is switched on it sets Google's own “_ga” and “_ga_*” cookies, which last up to two years and distinguish one browser from another. IP anonymisation is switched on. We record which pages are viewed and a small set of fixed interactions, such as a phone number being tapped or an enquiry being started, completed or accepted. Those events carry short predefined labels only — for example which form branch or which part of the page — and never your name, contact details, enquiry text, photographs or search terms.

What we do not use

  • no advertising or retargeting cookies
  • no social media pixels
  • no session recording, heatmaps or chat widgets
  • no fingerprinting or cross-site tracking of any kind

Changing your choice

Use the control (also in the footer of every page) to reopen the banner and change your decision at any time. Withdrawing consent stops any analytics measurement from that point on.

You can also block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. The only effect on this site is that the banner will ask again and the Pallet Checker will not remember answers between pages.
