What we do

The whole pallet cycle, under one relationship

Pallets pile up in yards, block loading bays and cost money nobody tracks. We take that whole cycle off your team.

That covers collection and clearance when pallets need to leave, purchase where surplus stock holds value, repair and reuse before recycling, correct handling of pooled stock that belongs to someone else, and supply when pallets need to come back in. Running several sites? We hold all of that together as one process instead of several local arrangements.

Our story

Built by two founders who know the industry from the inside

Alexander Tyrrell and Kyle Wetselaar began building Palletmove together in 2015, combining backgrounds in waste and resource management, logistics and international pallet trading. Palletmove Limited was legally incorporated in September 2016.

Alexander Tyrrell

Alexander comes from a third-generation waste and resource management family. His father, Graham, founded J&G Metals, which went on to become J&G Environmental, and Alexander grew up around the practical realities of recovery, reuse and compliance.

He attended Kingston University, where he achieved two degrees in business and finance. His own career spans logistics, training, marketing, consultancy and waste management. At Palletmove he leads commercial strategy, customer relationships and pallet sales, with particular expertise in UK pallet supply across Hampshire and the South Coast.

Co-Founder & Operations Director

Kyle Wetselaar

Kyle attended Southampton University, where he studied business and specialised in business development. He worked in oil and energy before entering the pallet industry in 2011. He now leads Palletmove's pallet purchasing, collections, delivery operations and day-to-day logistics.

He has particular expertise in European pallet purchasing and supply, including long-standing links with the Netherlands, and is fluent in English and Dutch.

Where the value goes

Reuse comes first

A pallet that's repaired and put back into service is worth more to everyone than one that's chipped. Serviceable pallets are recovered and re-supplied; pallets beyond safe repair go to timber recovery.

Where surplus stock is genuinely reusable but not commercially viable, we have historically given pallets to local causes.
