Pallet supply for export and freight
We supply timber, export-use and specialist pallets to exporters, manufacturers and freight forwarders, and help you settle the specification before you book the load. Getting the footprint, strength and marking right up front avoids failures once the load is booked.
What we supply
UK standard, Euro, export/ISPM15 and specialist pallets
We supply UK standard 1200x1000 and Euro 1200x800 pallets, quality used or new, plus export-use timber, ISPM15-marked pallets and presswood, and specialist types such as CP1-CP9 and plastic pallets where a load demands them. A 1200x800 footprint is not automatically an EPAL pallet, and export requirements depend on destination — we work through both with you before you order.
We sell to businesses in bulk and on repeat account supply. The fastest route to a usable price is a short conversation about what's moving: the goods, the weight, the handling method at both ends and the destination.
Not sure which pallet the route needs?
Describe the load and the destination on the phone. We can usually narrow it to one or two options in a few minutes, then quote against a quantity.
Operational benefits
What getting the specification right saves you
No rejected loads
A pallet matched to trailer, container or automation at both ends avoids failures once goods are moving.
Right strength for the weight
Static and dynamic load handled separately, so a pallet that stores well is also right under a forklifted, dense load.
Marking that holds up
Export/ISPM15-marked stock, or presswood where that's the better fit, chosen against your destination's requirements.
Account pricing on repeat lanes
Volume and call-off pattern quoted as account supply rather than re-priced on every order.
Same-day where it matters
Same-day delivery may be available for orders placed before 10am, subject to stock, vehicle availability, order size and destination.
One call to settle the spec
Footprint, entry type, weight and marking worked through together, not four separate questions.
What to confirm before export
ISPM15 is an international plant-health standard. Where it applies, regulated solid wood packaging must be treated by an approved method and marked accordingly — the mark on the item is the evidence. Manufactured materials such as plywood, OSB and presswood generally sit outside solid wood packaging rules, which is why a presswood pallet is often chosen for an export lane in the first place.
PPWR — the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation — is a separate regime covering packaging design, minimisation, reuse and recycling. It does not substitute for ISPM15 marking in either direction, and each is checked against its own official source.
Palletmove doesn't provide customs or legal advice and can't guarantee how a particular destination country will treat a consignment. Export requirements depend on destination, so verify country-specific rules with the official source, your freight forwarder and, where relevant, the importer.
How it works
Where each option usually lands
A general starting point — the right answer depends on your load, handling method and customer's requirements.
| Movement | Usual starting point | What still has to be confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| UK domestic distribution | UK standard 1200 × 1000 timber | Grade, entry type and any automation constraint at the receiving site. |
| GB to EU road freight | 1200 × 800 footprint for trailer efficiency | Whether wood packaging rules apply, and the marking evidence. |
| Deep-sea container export | Export-use timber, or a lighter manufactured option | Container fit, weight allowance and destination-country requirements. |
| Air freight | Lightweight options where the goods allow | Carrier and handling-agent rules, and total gross weight. |
| Repeat contract lanes | Account supply against an agreed specification | Volume, call-off pattern, storage at your end and lead time. |
