Surplus pallets are stock, not waste
If your site consistently ends up with more pallets than it can use, some of that stock is worth money, not a disposal cost. We assess it and buy what genuinely has value.
What determines value
Surplus pallet values depend on type, grade, quantity and location
We work through these factors before making any offer; we do not price from a single photograph.
Reusable grade
Sound boards, intact blocks or bearers and no structural damage. Repairable stock is worth less than ready-to-use stock, but more than scrap.
Type and footprint
Standard, widely used footprints move readily. Bespoke sizes have a narrower market.
Quantity and consistency
A consistent, sorted volume is worth more per pallet than the same number in a mixed, unsorted stack.
Location and access
Distance, vehicle access and whether loading assistance is available all affect the price.
Ownership
You must be free to sell the pallets. Pooled and leased pallets are excluded — see below.
Current demand
Reuse markets move, so any assessment reflects demand at the time we quote.
Important
Pooled and leased pallets cannot be sold
CHEP, LPR, IPP and similar pallets remain the property of the pooling operator that issued them, whoever is holding them. They should be returned through that operator's own network rather than sold as surplus.
During assessment we identify pooled and branded pallets and separate them instead of buying or removing them as stock. If you are unsure what is in your stack, our identification guide explains the marks to look for.
Getting a quote
What to send us
Clear photographs of the stacked pallets, close-ups of pallet faces and any markings, the approximate quantity, the site postcode, whether the volume is one-off or recurring, and how the pallets can be loaded. Call 023 8017 1048 or get a pallet quote online and we will give you a figure.
Find out whether your surplus is worth money
Send us photographs, quantity, pallet type and postcode, and we will tell you what it's worth.
